Tinkler’s Whitehaven hopes fade


DEADLINES come and deadlines go but unless Hogsback is misreading his tea leaves, and a few official statements, Monday could be make-or-break time for Nathan Tinkler’s proposed $5.25 billion takeover bid for Whitehaven Coal.
